Family Fun Land

W H A T: Annual family-friendly Autumn at Filoli Festival.

  • Discover and savor one-of-a-kind pears, apples and grapes from Filoli’s heirloom orchards.
  • The Filoli Garden Shop will be open throughout the day and special guest vendors will be nearby with their unique artisanal edibles including honey, condiments, candies and pastries.
  • Filoli volunteers will host floral design demonstrations at various times during the day.
  • Guided orchard tours.
  • Garden Information Docents will be present to share insights about the many intriguing aspects of caring for Filoli’s world-renowned gardens.
  • “Family Fun Land” supervised children’s outdoor games and activities, Halloween crafts, face painting.
  • Happy Birds will return this year for three performances.
  • Randall Metz and his Puppet Company will entertain both children and their parents.
  • Ravioli the Clown will perform his captivating magic show.
  • Hand-crafted scarecrows, designed by Friends of Filoli volunteers, in all shapes and sizes throughout the property.

One of the finest remaining country estates of the early 20th century, Filoli welcomes the public to this remarkable 654-acre property, including the 36,000 square foot Georgian country house and spectacular 16-acre English Renaissance garden.

Filoli is a private property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is dedicated to the preservation, interpretation and stewardship of the cultural traditions and natural history of this country estate for public education and enjoyment.
