S K I T I N E R A R I E S : Ripperoo Snow Parade

Bring the kids down to the fountain located at the center of the Heavenly Village every Saturday at 4:30pm this season for the Ripperoo Snow Parade! Ski School Mascot, Ripperoo, will lead the kids in a half-hour jaunt through the village, filled with singing, dancing, glow stick necklaces, and his very own marching band! Each parade ends with goody bags and treats from Seattle’s Best Coffee!

While the parade won’t take place on Christmas or New Years Day (both Saturdays), Ripperoo is still hosting his parade over the holidays bringing the Christmas cheer on Sunday the 26th at 4:30p… and will kick off the New Year during the family-friendly New Year’s celebration in the Village on Dec 31st at 4:30p!

This year’s inaugural Ripperoo Parade start this Saturday December 18th, so come join us for this festive, family-friendly après event!

S K I T I N E R A R I E S: LET IT SNOW!

BIG SNOW VIDEO
THE NAME’S NINO, EL NINO!

El Nino has come to Heavenly and Lake Tahoe with guns blazing! We’ve received over TWO FEET of new snow over the past 24 hours and it’s still DUMPING (1:30pm UPDATE: We’re now up over 30 inches of new snow – it’s crazy!)!

POWDER ANYONE?

Snow at last! The heavens opened up overnight and dumped two feet of fresh powder on the mountain. Low temperatures and snowfall will continue throughout the day so wear your goggles and warmest layers. This snow is light and dry so the tree line will be deceptively attractive. For your safety, please stick to groomed runs only. It’s going to be a beautiful to day ski and ride! Be ready when lifts open at 9 AM to carve some fresh snow tracks.
