Traditionally, the Jumbo/Humboldt squid is found in the waters of Chile north to San Diego. Yet, not so many years ago, these large carnivorous invertebrates invaded Monterey Bay, eating Pacific hake, rockfish, and market squid, all important California fisheries. Are they staying? Breeding? Dangerous? Join squid expert Danna Staaf as she attempts to answer these questions, and discusses how these changes effect the marine environment.
