It so happens that I read about the reopening of Villa Tugendhat just today, March 27, Mies’ 126th Birthday.

And this is the perfect reason to celebrate and plan for the next trip To Brno! :-)

Villa Tugendhat reopen again for public from Thursday, 6 March 2012

ITALY: San Gimignano 1300

Back from the summer trip, a great find, the new museum San Gimignano 1300 that brings to life the City as it existed 700 years ago. Free entrance to Teatro dei Leggieri on July 15 for the lucky ones that are around :-)

San Gimignano is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre and there is a virtual tour of the Historic Centre.
