Science Playground

We waited for almost a year to visit the green new busy home of the California Academy of Sciences, and we finally ventured to discover and play.

Here are some little kids highlights:
– Long hours on Mon&Tue… oops, not anymore, probably summer time only
– Members-only Hours: Tues 8:30 am – 9:30 am, Sun 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Scavenger Hunt: Search the Academy from A to Z
Scavenger Hunt: track turtles and tortoises throughout the entire museum
The Naturalist Center
– Early Explorers Cove (for the littlest ones): map, daily programs

And if more energy and time, there’s a nice Children’s Playground in Golden Gate Park (no adults allowed unless accompanied by children:-) and Carousel.
